LIT2531 - AFRICAN AMERICAN LITERATURE (3 hours) - Meets Humanities Requirement This is a survey course of African-American poetry, prose, drama, and oral tradition from 1619 to the present. The texts will be supplemented with audio recording, videotapes, historical artifacts, and photographs. Prerequisite: Completion of Composition I or approval of instructor
