Catalog Description: This course will provide information on basic anatomical and physiological terminology; fundamental chemical concepts with an emphasis on organic macromolecule, pH, buffers, electrolyte and solutions. Students will also receive an introduction to cellular structure and function. This class is designed for students planning to enroll in BI103 Human Anatomy and Physiology who have not had courses in both college biology and college chemistry. * This course requires proctored exams.
