AGR250 This course is designed to introduce the student to the principles of small animal care, management,and career opportunities. The use of companion animals in society, their value, and production systems will be explored. Topics include basic biology, breed identification, health, handling,and selection. Advanced topics of kennels,shelters,research facilities and zoos including regulatory issues will be covered. Interactive discussions,written skills, and experiential learning wil be emphasized.
