EMHS 1962 This course will train students in accordance with OSHA regulations pertaining to construction standards and Safety for Disaster Site Workers that are set forth in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 29, part 1926. This course will also introduce students to the operational skills and procedures required to provide support services, (e.g. utility, demolition, debris removal, or heavy equipment operation) or site clean-up services in response to natural and man-made disasters. All workers at disaster sites need to be aware of the differences between disaster sites and regular construction or demolition worksites and to be able to determine appropriate protective measures for ensuring disaster site worker safety.
