Catalog Description: Basic coding principles utilizing the International Classification of Diseases, 9th Revision, Clinical Modification, for the identification, coding and sequencing of principal, primary and secondary diagnoses, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Prerequisite: HR 105, HR 103, BI 103 or departmental consent. Co-requisites: HR 203, HR 212, HR 217 or departmental consent. *This class has a final proctored exam.
