EDU 6211 - INTRODUCTION TO THE TEACHING PROFESSION (3 hours) This is a preparation course for those who are considering education as a career field. Course content introduces students to the various components of formalized schooling and education of today. It gives perspective teachers an overview of the skills and knowledge needed to be a successful professional. This course must be taken in conjunction with EDU 6212.
