Flint Hills Technical College offers 15 programs of study along with a variety of short-term training courses and continuing education courses. Classes are small with an average 15 to 1, student to faculty ratio. You get to know your instructors and they'll get to know you. You are not just a number.

Students at FHTC enjoy the hands-on experience--about 30 percent of your classes will be theory/lecture and about 70% will be in the lab environment. You get to learn and practice on a daily basis in classes what you'll be doing on the job!

The LPN will perform IV Therapy procedures as defined in K.A.R. 60-16-102(b). The student will demonstrate knowledge, skills and competency in the administration of IV fluid therapy in a safe manner. (Students must be a Licensed Practical Nurse and have approval from the FHTC Director of Nursing.)
