MTH074

This course is designed for students enrolled in Technical Education programs whose basic computational skills are weak or marginal due to background or lack of use.  Competency at the college level in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of integers, decimals, and fractions, as well as, ratio, percent, and simple equations will be emphasized.  This course does not meet requirements for a degree program. 

 

Prerequisite:  A student receiving a Numerical Skills ASSET score is 43 or lower, an ACT Math score of 18 or lower, or a COMPASS Pre-Algebra score of 48 orlower must enroll in this course to satisfy prerequeisites for Technical Mathematics II.
